Aaron & Hannahare getting married
Aaron and Hannah met at a Gonzaga social event. They continued to stay in touch over the next few months, eventually meeting for Chinese food.
On this first date, in a run-down restaurant, Aaron and Hannah visited for over four hours. Both were busy with school and felt it wasn’t the right time for a relationship, so they continued as friends.
Months later, as their friendship grew, they both realized that they had feelings for one another and decided to give their relationship a shot. For the next two years, Hannah and Aaron made many special memories together.
Some of their favorites include: discovering new places to share a meal together, spending time with their families, attending concerts, traveling, and having picnics at the park.
Aaron grew up in Graham, Washington with his parents, Steve and Rose, his twin brother, Jonathan, and sister, Hanna. Aaron graduated from Gonzaga University in 2017 with his degree in Electrical Engineering. Currently, Aaron works at Habitat for Humanity in Spokane as an Operations Manager.
Hannah grew up in Pendleton, Oregon with her parents, Kevin and Lori, and brother, Joseph. Hannah graduated from Whitworth University in 2015 with her degree in education, and again in 2018 from Eastern Washington University with her Masters in Speech-Language Pathology. Currently, Hannah works with preschool and high school students in Central Valley School District as a Speech Therapist.
On May 20th, Aaron and Hannah arrived for a special dinner on a rooftop patio at a restaurant in Spokane. While Hannah was relaxed and enjoying their time, Aaron was keeping a secret, as unbeknownst to Hannah, he had created a timeline for the evening. After they finished eating, Aaron took Hannah to her favorite spot in Manito Park, where he had carefully planned and arranged for the proposal. Upon exiting the car at dusk, Hannah found a candlelit path, lined with handwritten letters, highlighting their love story. Aaron continued to lead Hannah down the path, scattered with rose petals, turning her around under the gazebo to see the beautiful flower gardens. Aaron had been checking to find out when the garden would be ready, in order to make every detail perfect. As the sun was nearly set, Aaron got down on one knee
